DeLuca. It’s one of the most feared and most respected names in all of Italy. It’s well known around the country that they run the local mafia, and everyone knows not to cross any of those members. But when Mr. DeLuca gets bored of running his usual land and waters, he makes a decision that could change the course of international smuggling forever. With a swift snap of his fingers, the entire group moves across the ocean to sunny San Diego. The Chinese and the Mexicans have no idea that someone is about to move in on their territory.
What all three groups are unprepared for, however, are the McLaughlins. These Irish Mobsters have a chip on their shoulder, and they’re ready for war. Following the Italians to California wasn’t easy, but they somehow managed to do so. Now, they’re sitting back, biding their time, waiting to attack.
These groups have major history with each other, and neither has forgotten what the other has done. They don’t care about the Mexican gangs threatening them; they couldn’t care less about the Chinese trying to knock them down, dead. The Italians and Irishmen may have many differences, but the one thing they agree on is their hate for each other.
When the leaders of the groups start playing dirty and attack each other’s families, it’s an all out war. There will be blood, and there will be death. How will these gangs focus on their business while trying to keep their loved ones protected? Who will become selfish and protect their own life?
And when the two future leaders of the Italian Mafia and Irish Mob fall in love, will it end the war? Or will it be the very downfall of their lives?
Declare your loyalties or hide your betrayals; either way, it’s up to you to make a choice now. This is your story, and you decide the ending. Either way, you need to be strong and stay brave because cowards may die many times before their death, but the valiant never taste of death but once.
